PDF to Word
Upload a PDF for conversion to an editable Word document through the configured document-conversion service. Review the resulting DOCX because PDF layouts may not reproduce exactly.
How to use PDF to Word
- Choose a small, non-sensitive PDF first.
- Select Convert and wait for the document-conversion service.
- If conversion fails, check the request size and retry a simpler PDF; a PDF extension alone does not establish valid file contents.
- Open the DOCX and review headings, tables, images and reading order before using it.
A practical example
Upload a text-based PDF with headings, images or tables → an editable DOCX
Limitations and common mistakes
Complex layouts, scanned pages and fonts may need manual correction. OCR support and upstream retention are not verified here. Do not upload confidential documents without checking the applicable service policy.
The PDF is uploaded through the website proxy to the configured conversion service. It is not converted entirely in your browser. Service-side storage and retention were not verified in this audit.
Questions about PDF to Word
Is the PDF processed only on my device?
No. The current proxy sends the PDF to a configured HTTPS conversion endpoint.
Will every PDF layout be preserved?
No guarantee is made. Inspect the downloaded document, especially for complex layouts or scanned pages.
Is OCR or automatic document deletion confirmed?
Neither OCR behavior nor upstream retention/deletion was verified from the available proxy source.
Supported input and output
A PDF file. The Node proxy rejects request bodies larger than 50 MiB; multipart overhead counts toward that limit.
A DOCX download when the upstream conversion service completes successfully.
