URL Inspector
Inspect URL components and query parameters without opening the URL.
How to use URL Inspector
Separate an absolute HTTP or HTTPS URL into its host, port, path, query parameters and fragment. Repeated parameters remain separate entries. No request is sent to the URL.
- Select Load example or paste your own test input.
- Choose Inspect and review the available options.
- Run the selected action; review any validation message.
- Inspect the output before copying, printing or downloading it.
A small example
https://example.com:8080/tools?tag=sql#demo → hostname: example.com; port: 8080; path: /tools
When the result looks wrong
Relative URLs and other schemes are rejected. Browser URL parsing may normalize hostnames and default ports. Inspecting a URL does not certify that its destination is safe.
Questions about URL Inspector
Is my input uploaded?
File and text processing runs in your browser. Opening the website still loads application assets from its host.
What if the result looks wrong?

Can I use sensitive production data?
Prefer non-sensitive test data. Never paste live access tokens, passwords or confidential documents into a site without assessing its code and environment.
